Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, this critical leadership role will be tasked with implementing a series of recommendations from a recent service review into the People and Culture function, working to lift the capacity and capability of the function to be fit for purpose for both current requirements, as well as the organisation’s future needs.
This interim opportunity offers the chance to shape workforce design, manage complex stakeholder relationships, and provide expert guidance on high-level employment matters to help design and implement the organisation’s future-state, whilst ensuring alignment with strategic goals and organisational culture. You will act as a trusted advisor to the Executive team and CEO, balancing strategic foresight with practical delivery as the organisation continues its evolution.
This role is offered on a 4-6 month contract basis.

- Proven ability to drive cultural transformation through motivational leadership, employee engagement strategies, and initiatives that foster a high-performing workforce.
- Strong project management skills, with experience leading complex initiatives from concept to delivery, including stakeholder engagement, risk management, and outcome reporting.
- Expertise in Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, including the successful delivery of programs such as Gender Equality Action Plans.
- Experience leading organisation-wide culture improvement initiatives.
- Capability in delivering learning and development programs across all organisational levels
- Demonstrated leadership in building and developing high-performing teams.
Applications will bring demonstrated senior HR leadership experience, with the strategic ability to align P&C initiatives with organisational goals. The role calls for proven success in leading organisational culture and workforce transformation and strong knowledge of Australian industrial relations, WHS and sector legislation, along with exceptional communication, stakeholder engagement and executive advisory skills.
Applicants will bring relevant tertiary qualifications and significant senior level experience from complex, regulated environments, with excellent analytical, problem-solving and conceptual skills to enable the development of innovative and evidence-based plans, programs and responses.
